Claire Chambolle is a Research Director at INRAE, in the Paris-Saclay Applied Economics unit (PSAE), and a part-time External Professor at École Polytechnique.

Her research lies in industrial organisation and microeconomics, applied to the retail sector and the agri-food chain. She works on retailers’ strategies, vertically related markets, buyer power, regulation and competition policy, and takes part regularly in the public debate on retail regulation in France and Europe.
